Primary Purpose: Provide support to Brokerage Staff and Brokerage Supervisor
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
  1. Track essential correspondence for all new business
  2. Invoice and Track Audit and Endorsement payments. Enter auto renewals into system.
  3. Email policy correspondence to agents
  4. Mail policies to insureds.  Email notices of cancellation and reinstatement.  Prepare Premium finance quotes.  Field phone calls from mortgage companies.     
  5. Track inspections and recommendations.  Prepare and organize certificates of insurance.    Assist others in the department, as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience                                                  
 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Insurance class helpful but not required.  
 
Worker is expected to participate in continuing education program(s) and/or participate in cross training for other lines of business, if needed.  
 
  • Language Skills                                   
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as business documents, procedure manuals and instructions.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
 
  • Mathematical Skills                                                      
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
  • Reasoning Ability                                                         
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
 
  • Computer Skills                                   o Computer knowledge required.  Knowledge in Agency Management Systems desirable.  
 
  • Other Skills and Abilities                                             o 10-Key and light typing skills required.  Excellent communication and telephone skills is necessary.
 
  • Other Qualifications                                                     
    • Worker is expected to maintain regular attendance.
